The Inner Sunset/Golden Gate Heights Neighborhood Emergency Response Team will be distributing emergency supplies for free to District 7 residents so that we may all be better prepared for a major earthquake, thanks to a $25,000 grant from Sup. Norman Yee's Participatory Budgeting process. These include Recology-style wheeled bins containing disaster supplies to 30 residents who would be willing to share with neighbors during a disaster and smaller backpack-style "go-bags" with supplies to 50 seniors.
Note: You do not need to be a NERT to qualify! You just need to live in Sup. Yee's District 7 in the Inner Sunset or Golden Gate Heights (roughly, south of Kirkham between 7th and 9th Avenues or south of Judah between 9th and 19th Avenues to Rivera Street).
