ISMA receives $50,000 grant for neighbor events.
Inner Sunset Merchants Association will receive the full $50k grant requested from Avenue Greenlight for 2023-2024! You may have seen this article in SF Chronicle.
This grant is intended for initiatives that demonstrate community benefit. For the Inner Sunset, the grant is earmarked for the following:
– Neighborhood cleanups
– Seasonal Art Walks
– Halloween and Holiday Events
– Community outreach and engagement related to these events
The Avenue Greenlight grant is a wonderful opportunity, and we are lucky to have access to it for a second year in a row. It will allow ISMA to activate and promote the commercial corridor in new and exciting ways, deepen connections among local merchants, and further cultivate strong ties to the neighborhood. A special thanks to ISMA president Susannah Wise of Park Smile Dental who did much of the heavy lifting applying for the grant.
